When and why does Movendi International process personal data?

Movendi International only processes data in certain situations:

How does Movendi International treat personal data?

Where and for how long does Movendi International keep personal data?

We digitally store our data in our content management system, which is physically located in Sweden, and subject to GDPR rules.

We use MailChimp as our emailing automation platform. If you subscribe to our regular newsletter and other updates, only your email will be transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

We use a smartphone app – the Worldwide Alcohol Policy News App – as an innovative tool to disseminate carefully curated news and updates about alcohol policy and science developments. If you download the app, the below special privacy policy applies.

If you submit an application form, register for an event or make a payment, we will keep your data for a maximum period of four years. Movendi International may also decide to collect some data in an aggregated form over a longer period in order to evaluate and make adjustments to its own activities (e.g. website visitors, newsletter opening track record). This data will be stored for a period of four years. After this time, it will be deleted.

For security, both our website and content management system have security technologies and measures including a two-factor authentication process, which are periodically reviewed and updated if necessary.

Does Movendi International keep my personal data safe?

Your data is processed in a way that is secure. Alcohol Policy News App Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Movendi International’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you through our app, Movendi International.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.
