Yuva Bharat meets for national workshop and Drink Revolution kick-off
Yuva Bharat, the national youth movement for alcohol-free lifestyle in India, gathered youth from all over India for a national youth meet and to kick off the Indian activities of Drink Revolution.
For the youth meet, Yuva Bharat hosted friends from Stop Drink Network in Thailand and from ADIC Sri Lanka, providing expertise and training to the Indian participants.
IOGT International Board member Teera Watcharapranee (Thailand) and Srinivasa Vara Prasad (India) and IOGT International Vice President Pubudu Sumanasekara (Sri Lanka) also joined the young people for the 3-day event, at Nagpur City, the largest city of central India.
Workshop and training
The youth meet consisted of an empowerment workshop and training where young experts from Sri Lanka and Thailand shared their best practices and experiences and where the young people from the three countries discussed strategies for alcohol prevention in India.

Drink Revolution kick-off
The young people arranged a beautiful party with creative alcohol-free drinks, Magic Drinks, and loads of fun activities. This party marked the kick off for Drink Revolution activities by Yuva Bharat in India.
Drink Revolution is a global campaign that celebrates the alcohol-free lifestyle and seeks to shatter an outdated and intoxicating alcohol norm.
