About the Event
The General Assembly Plenary is a meeting of all the member states of the United Nations to discuss important global issues, make decisions, and adopt resolutions. It is the main decision-making body of the United Nations and provides a platform for all member states to express their views on various issues. The General Assembly has announced the upcoming plenary meetings scheduled for 2023 under the purview of the 77th session. The 77th session of the General Assembly began with the theme “A watershed moment: transformative solutions to interlocking challenges”, as proposed for the general debate in accordance with the resolution in 2022. The upcoming plenary meetings are a continuation of the ongoing 77th session of the General Assembly. The newly announced schedule outlines a series of meetings and consultations to be held at different locations in United Nations General Assembly.
