SDN Thailand: National Youth Camp
Stop Drink Network Thailand, a member of the IOGT International family, held their National Youth Camp from April 26 to 28, 2019.
About 150 youth from all around the country participated in the national youth camp. The event created a platform for young activists to share their experiences in alcohol prevention. The youth also participated in different fun activities focused on building motivation, self development and cohesion between the youth.
SDN also invited other IOGT International youth members to join the youth camp in Thailand. Members of ADIC Sri Lanka and Yuva Bharat, India also participated in the camp. They shared their experiences and expertise in alcohol prevention and alcohol control policy in the region with SDN youth.
The SDN National Youth Camp is a great example of the environments that the global IOGT movement is creating: safe, inclusive, healthy, creative, fun and empowering – so that young people can learn to lead and realize their full potential.
