Vit Jul Wins Best International Web Video at the Reed Awards

The campaign film for Vit Jul’s 2016 campaign is an innovative 360-degree-film called “Julen1982” (Christmas 1982). Vit Jul, or White Christmas, is a campaign of the entire Swedish IOGT-NTO movement, to make Christmas the holidays of children, asking parents to spend Christmas alcohol-free and providing awesome activities for children when all other opportunities for kids are closed over the holidays.

White Christmas is also run in other Nordic countries by IOGT International member organizations.

In 2016, Vit Jul helped to arrange almost 300 activities in the month of December for children all across Sweden. These activities are open for all children, but they are especially important for children from families with parental alcohol problems.

The campaign adds a powerful message to these activities. The film has been shown 875.000 times and more than 30.000 people have engaged with the film in the social media.
