SCAD is a non-profit and politically independent organization run by youth. SCAD works for substance use prevention tackling among others: HIV risk behaviours and infections among young people of Kenya. Through education programs, SCAD works with and for young people, equipping them with skills to aid in making informed decisions. SCAD’s advocacy efforts aim at addressing the environment the young people live in and the topics relevant for youth in Kenya. Research guides both SCAD’s education and advocacy efforts.
