The Ugandan Government is set to pass a new law regulating alcohol sale and consumption

The State Minister of Health, Dr. Chris Baryomunsi, announced that the Bill will also regulate the time that alcohol sellers will be allowed to sell to their customers.

The government has drafted a law that seeks to regulate the manufacture, sale and consumption of alcohol by Ugandans. The Bill will also regulate the retail time for alcohol.
