These discussion are for anyone who wants to learn about different areas of public health, to listen to and share different perspectives. There is a different focus topic each week, connecting to the big picture.

• The state of alcohol control globally, with an emphasis on orienting our public health audience towards the scale of the problem;
• The SAFER package of interventions; 
• The role of industry in promoting alcohol use and blocking progress; and
• Examining real-world progress and challenges in Scotland, Sri Lanka and elsewhere.
